Kirath Ghundoo: new
2013 wallaper range

I have loved Kirath Ghundoo's pleasing geometrics since I saw her stand at 100% Design the year before last (check out her other designs here). Now she has a new set of her wallpaper designs called the 13 Collection, featuring three fresh patterns.

They are named Jewel, Sombre and Ash (in that order from left to right in the image below) and Kirath says she was inspired by Arabian architecture, dark nights and nature to create them.

Roll size is 52cm x 10m and costs £140 per roll. It's not cheap – but quite apart from being many pieces of art at once on your wall, the new range adheres to Kirath's Mix n Match mode d'emploi.

Because the rolls don't feature repeats and don't match already, but are designed to work side by side nonetheless, you avoid wasting any of the paper as nothing is designed to line up. Clever and sustainable.

I'd quite like to wear them.

Buy these wallpapers as well as previous Mix n Match at the Kirath Ghundoo online shop.
